ROLLINS, BRENNEMAN, SWAILES, FAULKNER, KEEN

George W. Rollins.

George W. Rollins, 79, of rout 3, Muscatine, died at 4 a.m. today at Muscatine General hospital after a short illness.

Mr. Rollins was born Dec. 2, 1882, at Cofferville, Kans., the son of Ephrain and Matilda Jane Hurlburt Rollins.

He had been a resident of Muscatine for 50 years, and was a charter member of Lincoln Blvd. Baptist church.

Mr. Rollins was married to Gladys Hobert, Oct. 12, 1913, in Muscatine. She preceded him in death.

He was married in June, 1946, at Muscatine to Wlima Soltwedel Curry.

Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Wilma Rollins of Muscaine; two sons, Raymond Rollins of Los Angeles and Dean Rollins of West Liberty; four daughters, Mrs. Woodrow (Helen) Brenneman of Nichols, Mrs. Virgil (Velma) Swailes of West Liberty; Mrs. Robert (Edna) Faulkner of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Ethelmayree Keen of Muscatine; a brother, Omer. E. Hobert of Davenport; a step-son, Cecil Curry of Davenport; 21 grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m, Saturday at the Ralph J. Wittich funeral home. The body is at the funeral home now, and friends may start calling this evening.
