Mrs. Mary M. Bruun, 81, a former Muscatine resident died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Cooper at Humbodt, Neb., this morning, according to word received here today by Mrs. Frank E. Sawyer, Mulberry avenue. The body will arrive here early Friday morning for funeral services and interment.

Mrs. Bruun was born in Pennsylvania, July 7, 1843, her daughter of Thomas V. and Elizabeth A. Bishop. She married Louis H. Bruun Jan. 11, 1867 and he died Jan. 3, 1886. Mrs. Bruun had made her home in Muscatine until about 20 years ago when she removed to Hamboldt. She was a member of the Baptist church.

Surviving are five children, Charles A. of Kansas City, Mo., Edward L. of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. Emma Segrise, Sioux City, Ia., Albert of Humboldt, Neb., Mrs. Joseph Cooper Humboldt, Neb., three sisters and one brother; Mrs. Martha Dennis, Naperville, Mo., Mrs. Julia L. Hill, Naperville; Leo J. Bishop, Eldorado Springs, Mo., Mrs. Frank E. Sawyer Muscatine.
