WEST LIBERTY - Mrs. Anna M. Luse, 102, West Liberty's oldest resident, died this morning at the Hawker Nursing home, West Liberty.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at the Snider Funeral Home, West Liberty. Rev. Elmer Baker of the West Liberty Christian church will officiate and burial will be in the Oak Ridge cemetery, West Liberty. Visitation will start this evening.

Anna Worrall was born April 3, 1867 on a farm north of West Liberty, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Worrall. She lived her entire life, except for two years, in the West Liberty area.

She married Harry C. Luse July 7, 1891 and he preceded her in death in 1925.

Mrs. Luse was a member of the West Liberty Christian church and Chapter AH of the PEO Sisterhood. She graduated from the Iowa City Academy and attended the Presbyterian college at Geneseo where she studied piano.

She is survived by one son, Ivan W., of West Liberty; and two daughters, Miss Marjorie Luse, Des Moines; and Mrs. Glen (Eleanor) Myers, Kansas City; three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
