Florence M. Andera, 88, Wilton, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2006, at Pathway Hospice, Bettendorf.

The Rev. Jack Gallagher will officiate the services. Casket bearers are Jeff Wacker, John Wacker, Roger Andera, Rhonda Hansen, Brock Ryner and Robbie Wacker. Honorary casket bearers are Bobbie Ryner, Gage Hansen, Taylor Conder, Adam Conder, Erin Wacker, Ryan Wacker, Clayton Wacker, Nathan Wacker, Cody Wacker and Logan Wacker. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Wilton.

Services: St. Mary's Catholic Church, Wilton. Visitations: Bentley Funeral Home, Wilton, with a rosary recited and one hour prior to services Thursday, church.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church Building Fund or the Wilton Community Center and Library.

She was born Aug. 17, 1917, in Chamberlain, S.D., the daughter of George and Mary 'Bessie' Olinger Feltman. She married Raymond Andera on Jan. 2, 1937, in Wilton. He preceded her in death June 24, 1980.

She worked in janitorial services at Wilton Savings Bank for many years.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Wilton, and Altar and Rosary. She enjoyed going to breakfast and lunch as well as playing cards with her lady friends.

Survivors include a daughter, Betty Wacker and husband Steve of Tucson, Ariz.; two sons, Robert Andera of Wilton and Donald Andera and wife Sylvia of Marshalltown; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and her caregiver and friend, Chris Putnam.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and a grandson, Pete Andera.
