Mrs. Lydia D. Martin

Mrs. Lydia D. Martin, 73, a former Muscatine resident, died late Saturday at Downey, Calif.

She was born Feb. 25, 1886 near Lone Tree, and had lived in Muscatine county until 1931 when they moved to California. She was married Feb. 19, 1914, to William Martin.

Survivors include her husband; four sons, Albert, William, Walter and Henry, all of California; one daughter, Mrs. Wiola Walton, Indianapolis, Ind.; three brothers, George Weiss of Atalissa, and Albert and Walter Weiss of West Liberty; and one sister, Mrs. Lena Marolf of Muscatine. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister.
