Services for Ronnie Lee Merrill, 34, Iowa City, will be held at Friday at the Geo. M. Wittich Funeral
Home. The Rev. Frank Gillett will officiate. Burial will be at Memorial Park cemetery.
Visitation will begin Thursday afternoon. The casket will remain closed.

Mr. Merrill died about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday in a one-car accident Highway 6 near
Iowa City when his car missed a curve. His address was 3435 Lakeside Apartments, Iowa
City.

A son of Harlan (Chuck) and Gertrude Westerman Merrill,, he was born March 15, 1937, in Muscatine.
He was an Iowa City resident about six years.

He married twice, first to Ruth Noret and then to Dorothy Auen, and was divorced.

Mr. Merrill was manager of the bakery department of Hy-Vee Food Store, Iowa City.

His father is the deputy bailiff for Muscatine Municipal Court.

Surviving are two sons, Craig Allen, Muscatine, and Michael, Iowa City; three daughters, Pamela Sue, Sherry Lea and Lisa Joy, all of Muscatine; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Merrill, Muscatine;
one sister, Mrs. Verne (Joan) Fuegen, Muscatine.

Rev. Frank Gillett officiated at services for Ronnie Merrill, 34, at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Geo. M. Wittich Funeral Home. Mrs. Richard Dilts was organist.

Pallbearers were Paul Retherford, Paul Figg, Robert Wieter, H. Henry Hansen, Larry George and Larry Noble.

Burial was in Memorial Park cemetery.
