Clarence M. Eis former Muscatine resident died May 24 at Wenatchee Wash.

Mr Eis was born Jan I8 in Muscatine county the son of Ella Batchelor and Charles Eis. He was married to Nellie Frye in Muscatine in 1912 and they made their home here for 10 years before moving to Wash where they recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. He is survived by his widow two sisters Mrs Etta Rodgers of Muscatine and Mrs Mabel Wherry of Olympia Wash. and a halfbrother Milo Godfrey of Bremerton Wash.
