Wilton - Samuel Charles King, 92, a retired farmer died at 9 am Sunday at the Wilton nursing home. He suffered a heart attack following a lengthy illness.

A member of St. Mary's church, rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm Tuesday at Griffith funeral home. Friends may call afer 6 pm today.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 9 am at St. Mary's church in Wilton with Rev. Father Carl Clems of St. Mary's in Muscatine officiating.

King was born May 11, 1871, in Lockridge township of Jefferson county, the son of Sebastian and Anna King. He had lived at Wilton for 20 years and was a former resident of Fairfield.

He married Amelia Ann Keller June 31, 1901 at St. Mary's in Fairfield with Rev. Father Noddler the priest.

Survivors include his wife at Wilton: three sons, Samuel, Jr., Wilton; Raymond of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; and Edwin of Kansas City, Kansas: seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
