Catherine Honts
Catherine Ann Honts, 92, a resident of the Hershey Convalescent Home, died there Sunday.
Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home. Pastor Don Harding will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is until 9 o'clock this evening.
The daughter of John George and Margaret Elizabeth Brandt Bartenhagen Riegel, she was born February 25, 1890 in Fruitland Township in Muscatine county. She was a life resident of the surrounding area.
Her marriage to Francis Edgar Honts took place October 14, 1907, in Muscatine. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church. Mrs. Honts was a retired emplyee of the H.J. Heinz Co.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. W. Allen (Edna) Greene of Muscatine; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Fred (Mildred) Pershke of Muscatine.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, two daughters, four brothers, seven sisters and one great grandchild.
