Walter Honts. 68, of 2626 Rockingham Rd., died at 11:20 P.M. Saturday at Mercy hospital Davenport of complication following an extended illness.
Born January 25,1900 at Coumbus Junction, he was the son of Albert and Rose Sandy Honts. He had lived in Wisconsin a number of years and had lived in Davemport the last 10 years. He was a member of the Davemport Baptist church.
Survivors are five sons, Danny and Robert of Muscatine, Raymond of Davenport, Lester of Oregon and John of Webster, Wis., two daughters, Mrs. Darlene Burlingame of Missouri and Mrs. Dell Gaylor of Colfax, Iowa, one brother Robert Honts of Danberry, Wis., also surviving are 20 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday at the Ralph J. Wittich funeral home with Rev. Frank Gillet in charge. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery.
