JEFFERY HONTS

Jeffery Eugene Honts, 31, 107 Letts Avenue, Fruitland, Muscatine, died Monday night Oct 14, 1991, at Charity Hospital in Baton Rouge, La.

Services will be at 1:30 pm Monday, Oct 21 at the Geo. M Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Jack Andersen. Pallbearers will be David Honts, Marvin Honts, Steven Honts, Larry C. Staats, Mitchell Longcor and Bill Grace. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 pm Sunday at the funeral home, where a memorial has been established.

Mr. Honts was born Sept. 29, 1960, in Muscatine, a son of Don and Diane (Staats) Honts.

Survivors include his parents, Don and Diane Honts of Fruitland; two brothers, Jerry Honts of Tucson, Ariz., and Brian Honts, of Moline, Ill.; and one sister, Brenda Davis, of Muscatine.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

For the last 15 years, he traveled throughout the United States. He had served in the U.S. Navy for two years, following his enlistment.
