MUSCATINE, Iowa - Shawn Paul Taylor, 38, Muscatine, died Tuesday, April 5, 2005.

The Rev. Walden Askren will officiate the services. Casket bearers will be Jimmy McKiddy, Rod Butler, Kyle Cromer, Dan Skipton, Dale Holtz and Walter Land. Following the interment, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Eagles.

Mr. Taylor was born Feb. 10, 1967, in Muscatine, the son of Terrance Eugene Taylor and Louise Dearborn Reimers. He married Janeen Kilberger in Fairfax July 9, 1988. They later divorced.

He was employed as a maintenance engineer at Letica and was a member of the Eagles. He watched NASCAR and enjoyed playing pool and camping with his son, Alex.

Survivors include his son, Alex; his mother, Louise Reimers and her husband, Rick; two brothers, Duane Taylor and his wife, Stacy and Patrick Taylor and his wife, Darla; one step-brother, Ricky Reimers; two step-sisters, Sheri Reimers and Amber Harden and her husband, Wes all of Muscatine; maternal grandmother Jeanette Dearborn of Bloomfield and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents.
