Carl "Speck" Kane
Carl Kane 70 of Muscatine Hotel died Thursday at Muscatine General Hospital.
The son of Albert and Ada Belle Mabie Kane, he was born Jan. 24, 1910 in Geneseo, ILL. He lived most of his life in the Muscatine area and at one time worked for Huttig Manufacturing.
Three sons survive Marvin of Davenport, Gary of Robbins Calif., and Carl Jr. of Alcopoco, Mexico and several grandchildren. Three sisters and one brother preceded him in death.
