In my research of my Glaze family. I came across :West Virginia Vital Research Records
Michael Green married Elizabeth Glaze 26 June 1814 Wood Co., (W.) Va. by Reece Woolf.

I have no doubt this Michael Green age 55 b. Md. & Elizabeth (Glaze) Green age 56 b.Md. Daughter Mary Ann Green age 26 born Va. per the 1850 Iowa Census: Muscatine.

Believe this refers to wife, Elizabeth (Glaze) Green

"Mr. Denison reported as follows:

Died, at Muscatine, July 14, 1887, of old age, Mrs. Elizabeth Green, aged 94 years, 4 months and 3 days. Mrs. Green was born in Maryland; came to Iowa in 1840; had lived continuously in Muscatine 46 years. Like most of the early settlers she experienced much of the rough and tumble of pioneer life. She was an exemplary Christian, a good neighbor and commanded the respect of all who knew her. Therefore, Resolved, By the Old Settlers, at their 31st annual reunion, held at Cherry Bluffs, Aug. 31, 1887, that this tribute of respect to our sister be entered upon the minutes of their proceedings."

Believe Mrs. Michael Green to be this same Elizabeth .

It should be noted: Michael's sister, Sarah married #1 Henry Glaze. Henry Glaze, a brother of Elizabeth (Glaze) Green.

We descend from another brother: Arehart Glaze - "Sally" Deputy 6 Jan.1814 Wood Co.,Va. by Reece Woolf. Arehart,Henry & Elizabeth Glaze were siblings; parents John & Elizabeth Glaze of Hampshire Co., (W.)Va. & Maryland (1788). Other siblings of Elizabeth Glaze Green : Ann, John (Jr.) & George.
