Five pioneer citizens of Montgomery county died recently. They are William Cozad, Taylor G. Kendall, Addison McCray, James L. Callen and Abram Jackson. Cozad had been a resident of the county since 1856.

William Cozad was born Aug. 11, 1843 and died March 29, 1913 and is buried in Hewitt Cemetery in Red Oak
Taylor G. Kendall was born in 1845 and died March 29, 1913 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Red Oak
Addison McCray was born in 1842 and died April 1, 1913 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Red Oak
James L. Callen was born Aug. 10, 1837 and died April 2, 1913 and is buried in Emerson Cemetery in Mills County
Abram Jackson was born Jan. 16, 1838 and died April 2, 1913 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Red Oak.
