Red Oak Women's Father is Buried

Graveside services were at Elmwood Cemetery near Coin Sunday, April 8 for William Thorn, 77, Yorktown, father of Mrs. Jesse Smith and Mrs. Walter Major, both, of Red Oak, who died Thursday, April 5 at his home.

Other survivors include two sons, seven other daughters, and several grandchildren.

Mr. Thorn was found dead in bed at his home Sunday, April 8. He had not been seen since midweek but the time of death was placed on Thursday night. Death was from natural causes and there was an inquest.
