Services for Carl Martin Lonn, 85, Elliott, were Monday at Sellergren-Lindell Funeral Home in Red Oak. Rev. John Swenson officiated and burial was in Evergreen cemetery, Red Oak.

He died Wednesday (Nov 2, 1988) at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital, Red Oak, following an extended illness.

He was born Oct 1, 1903, Montgomery county to Anders and Charlotte Lonn. He married Dorothy M. Kennedy in Marysville, Missouri, Aug 16, 1934.

A farmer, Mr. Lonn resided in the Elliott and Red Oak communities all of his life and retired to live in Elliott in 1969. He was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran, Red Oak church.

Survivors include one son, Richard Lonn, of Huston, Texas, two grandchildren; one brother, J. Elmer Lonn of Seattle, Wash.; two sisters, Dora Carlson and Ellen O. Swanson, both of Red Oak.
