Services Set for Mrs. Vannausdle, 67
 
Services will be held at the Perryman Chapel Wednesday, March 23, at 2 p. m. for Mrs. Alice M. Vannausdle, 67, Red Oak resident since 1935, who died of heart disease this morning in Murphy Memorial hospital.

She had been in poor health for about one year and had been hospitalized for four days.

Rev. Guy J. Fansher will officiate assisted by Rev. R. V. Felt. Music will be by Stephen Fifield, soloist, and Mrs. Ray Cozad, organist. Serving on the floral committee will be Mrs. Glen Confer and Mrs. Wallace Buchanan.

Bearers will be Clarence J. Johnson, Lester Peterson, Glen Confer, John Confer, Adrian Wookey and Wallace Buchanan. Burial will be in Salem cemetery southwest of Red Oak.

Born near Hawthorne March 15, 1882, she was the daughter of James A. and Martha Harbaugh. She married E. Ralph Vannausdle in Red Oak Jan. 3, 1906. He died in Garfield township Oct. 9, 1933.

She lived in West and Garfield townships until moving to Red Oak in 1935. She was a member of the Hawthorne Methodist church.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Lester Larson and Mrs. Dick Thomas, both of Red Oak, Mrs. Lester Mailey and Mrs. Paul Fryrear, both of Lebanon, Ore.: two sisters, Mrs. W.A. Butenhoff of Red Oak and Mrs. O.N. Lawrence of Orville, Wash. Ten grandchildren also survive.
