Lee H. Lukehart, 88, of 3300 56th St. died of pneumonia Wednesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Church of the Nazarene, of which he was a member. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines.

Mr. Lukehart was born in Red Oak and lived in Des Moines most of his life. He was a retired machinist at Colonial Bakery.

Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Fuja of Naperville, Ill.; two sons, Dudley of Placerville, Calif., and Charles of Cincinnati, Ohio; five sisters, Lorene Keener of Des Moines, Ethel Dorsett of Greenwood, Doris Allen of Council Bluffs, Evelyn Pierce of Lincoln, Neb., and Esther Halterman of Denver, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at Hamilton’s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to his church. ~ The Des Moines (IA) Register Fri 11 July 1997.
