Graveside memorial services for Eugene Ray Thomas, 70, of Wheat Ridge, Colo., formerly of Red Oak, will be Saturday, Jan. 24, at 10:30 a.m. at the rural Flint Cemetery, one mile south of Highway 92 on 525th Street, Waveland Township, Pottawattamie County, just west of Griswold.

Mr. Thomas died Jan. 6. He was a 1951 graduate of Red Oak High School and worked at the Red Oak Western Auto Store before entering the U.S. Army on April 11, 1955. He was discharged in 1957 and moved to Denver where he entered the construction labor force.

Survivors include his sisters, Dorothy Hatfield of Malvern, Lola Lewis of Katy, Texas, and Ruth Divis of Omaha; son, Scott Thomas; grandson, Shane Thomas, both of California.

Mansfield-Hertz Funeral Home in Malvern is in charge of arrangements.
