RED OAK - Funeral services for Scott Magers, 42, of Henderson will be Friday at 3 p.m. at the Emerson United Methodist Church.

Mr. Magers died Dec. 22 from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.

He was born in Council Bluffs on Feb. 10, 1960, to Richard and Judith (Coppock) Magers. He graduated from Nishna Valley in 1978. He lived most of his life in Mills County.

He was employed by RO MECH of Red Oak for 24 years. He was a member of NHRA.

Survivors include his parents; one sister, Libby Grummert and husband, Vertis, of Friendswood, Texas; two brothers, Drew and wife, Angie, of Emerson, and Chad of Council Bluffs.

Visitation with the family will be tonight from 7 to 8 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Farm Creek Cemetery in Henderson. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials are suggested to the Henderson Fire Department or the Macedonia Rescue Unit.
