Thursday, February 8, 1877 - Departed this life, at Indianapolis, Ind., Sunday last, Mr. Thos. Rogers, a prominent citizen and lumber merchant of Red Oak. Mr. Rogers has been in ill heath for some time, and on this account broke up housekeeping and went to Indianapolis, but his disease, cancer in the stomach, baffled medical skill. Mr. Rogers was sixty years of age. (Montgomery County Express)
