These are the obituaries for Cora Alice OVERMAN, who was born in Villisca, Montgomery Co., IA, in 1873 or 1874. She died in Joplin, Jasper Co., MO, on 22 Dec 1915.
Obituary from the Joplin Globe (24 Dec. 1915):
"Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Alice Richey, 42 years old, wife of Thomas Richey, who died at the residence, No. 414 North Main St., Wednesday night, will be held in the residence at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery."
Obituary from the Joplin News Herald (23 Dec. 1915):
"Mrs. Cora A. Richey, 42 years old, wife of Thomas Richey, died at the residence, 414 N. Main St., at 8 o'clock last night. She is survived by her husband, three sons and five daughters. Funeral services will be held at the home at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery."
