Mother of Mrs. W. S. Reiley Died Saturday After a Months Illness

Mrs. Rachel Kemp, 84, mother of Mrs. W.S. Reiley died here Saturday, after a months illness with a complication of ailments.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Sellergren Funeral Home with Rev. Robert A. Edgar, pastor of the Congregational Church in charge. Pallbearers were Dr. C.T. Hays, Dr. H.C. Bastron, Harold Olson, Oliver Reiley, Robert Reiley and Russell Rickelton. A quartet composed of Mrs. Orval Walker, Mrs. R.D. Morris, Chas. W. Miller and Russell Stevenson furnished the music. Mrs. Dale Petty was the accompanist. The floral committee included Mrs. Oscar Young, Mrs. Maurice Lavine, Mrs. I.O. Webb and Mrs. Will Imrie. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
Rachel Blythe was born Oct. 14, 1855, in Toronto, Canada, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Blythe. She had lived in the United States since she was 11 years of age, and has divided her time for many years past among her daughters. They are Mrs. W.S. Reiley, with whom she happened to be staying when stricken; Mrs. Cora E. Schad, Omaha, and Lottie McGregor, Ft. Worth, Tex. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Mrs. Kemp was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the O.E. S. and Royal Neighbors Lodges.
