J.L. Lynch and Lady companion, of Augusta, took their exit from Augusta last week, en route to Villisca, Iowa, to visit theri son- in-law, M.N. McNaughton, M.D., and Lady companion. They thought favorably of making a permanent home in the west. A few years ago Mr. Lynch was a prominent merchant in Galesburg. He sold his store and other property to D.B. Hull and bought a half interest in the hardware store in Augusta, where he resided until he left last week for the west. He and his family were noble people and the pride of any neighborhood where they have or may locate.
