Frances Paskvan

Des Moines, Iowa -- Sister Frances Paskvan, 78, who previously lived in Albia, Iowa, and has lived with her son-in-law and daughter for the past six months, Mr. and Mrs. Seraphin Versypt in East Moline, died at their house on January 21, 1960, whose picture we bring here.

Religious ceremonies were served on Jan. 23 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Albia and then she was buried in the same place on St. Mary's Cemetery.

The late Sister Paskvan was a member of St. Anna in East Moline, as well as a member of "Wild Rose" Section 872 of the Croatian Fraternal Union at Des Moines.

She was born 10, March in 1881 in Yugoslavia, and married Anton Paskvan in 1908 in Missouri.

She leaves behind four sons, Matthew, Phillip, John and Frank Paskvan, all in East Moline; one daughter, Mrs. Versypt; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Her husband Anton Paskvan, daughter Mrs. Eva Stanfel, died before her.

May the deceased be an easy land in which she rests, and our sincere condolences to her beloved.
