Melrose - Martin Scieszinski, 57, died at 7 a.m. today at his farm home, north of Melrose, of a heart attack.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters and three sons, Irene and Agnes, Louis Edward and Bernard, all at home; by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Scieszinski of Melrose; two sisters, Mrs. Ed McLamar of Ottumwa and Mrs. Pete Leonard of Melrose; five brothers, Edward of Janesville, Wis., Dan of Albia, and William, Frank and Joe of Melrose.

The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Patrick's church here. Burial in Mt. Calvary cemetery.
