Monday, April 15, 1963GEORGE CONWAY, 76 DIES FRIDAY
George Conway, 76, a lifelong resident of Monroe County, died Friday. Conway was born Feb. 14, 1887 in Melrose, the son of Michael Peter Conway and Mary Barry Conway.
Surviving are two brothers, James, with whom he lived, and M. D. Conway, three sisters, Mrs. Matt Carmody, Mrs. Bill Barry and Mrs. Lee Murphy, all of Melrose. Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
The funeral was at 10 a.m. today at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Melrose with the Rev. Father J. J. Morrissey officiating. Burial was in Mt. Calvary cemetery at Melrose.
