Patrick Mahoney of Wayne township died at the home of John Foley Thursday of last week and the funeral was held Saturday at Stacyville, Father Gaule officiating.

A wife, two children and father, brothers, and sisters and a host of friends are left to mourn their loss.

Patrick Mahoney Dies

Tyrone, Iowa, Feb., 15th, 1908 -- The funeral of Patrick Mahoney whose death took place at the home of his father-in-law, James Foley six miles north of Melrose early Friday morning, was held today at the Catholic church at Georgetown, interment being in the cemetery at that place.

Mr. Mahoney has been a patient sufferer for the last three years failing at last before that dreaded destroyer consumption. His relatives did every thing in their power to restore him to health but their efforts were all impotent to stay the hand of death.

He leaves a father and two brothers, together with a wife and two young children to mourn his untimely death.
