September 14, 1944Sylvester O'Brien Dies In Ottumwa Tuesday
Sylvester B. O'Bryan, 42, died at 11:30 a. m., Tuesday at the St. Joseph hospital in Ottumwa.
He had been in the employ of the Standard Oil Co., for 18 years and had resided in Ottumwa for two years. He was transferred there from Creston.
He was born near Melrose and lived in this community a number of years.
Mr. O'Bryan is survived by his wife, Margaret, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester O'Bryan of Kenosha, Wis., two brothers, Dick and Dan in the armed services, and three sisters, Mrs. Charlotte Huntoon of Eldon, Mrs. Mary Tennant of St. Louis and Mrs. Florence Hall a Kenosha.
No funeral arrangements at this time.
