STATE DEATHS:
LAWLESS FUNERAL
MELROSE—Frank Lawless, 56 years old, of six miles south of Melrose, farmer and former railroad fireman, was found dead in bed from heart disease at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at his home.

He was born in Delaware county and had been a long-time resident of Jackson township in Monroe county.

Surviving are his widow and several children, one sister, Mrs. Tim Daley, of Hiteman, and two brothers, William and Andy Lawless of Melrose.

The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Melrose St. Patrick’s church with the Rev. D. C. Browne officiating. Burial will be in Melrose Mt. Calvary cemetery.
