DIED. -- Near Albia, Iowa, October 8th, l877, MRS. MARGARET MORRIS; aged 40 years, 8 months, 25 days.

Her maiden name was VANDEVENTER; she was married to U.B. MORRIS, May 16th, l858. From their marriage there were 9 chilcren, 8 of whom are living. MR. MORRIS died May 3, l872. MRS. MORRIS has since acted nobly her part in caring for her children. She became a member of the Christian Church in early life, and lived a faithful disciple until death.

MRS. MORRIS and family were former residents of this county, and were well known to many of our old citizens.
