James Sinnott, 79, Died on Tuesday At Home, Melrose

Funeral services were held at St. Patrick’s church in Melrose this morning for James Sinnott, 79 years old, who died of heart trouble Tuesday morning at his home in Melrose. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery in Albia.

Mr. Sinnott, a veteran resident of Monroe county, had been in poor health for some time but his death came suddenly at 5 a.m. He formerly farmed for many years near Georgetown, moving to Melrose about 10 years ago.

Surviving are his wife; two brothers, Frank and Morgan, both of Melrose; and five sisters, Mother Elizabeth of Council Bluffs, Mrs. James Duggan, Mrs. Elizabeth Zarp and Mrs. William Luttrell of Melrose and Mrs. Mrs. William Frew of Albia.

A large number from here attended the funeral of James Sinnott at Melrose Thursday. Mr. Sinnott was an old resident of here. The community extends sympathy.
