It is with sadness we chronicle the death of Mother Clever of West Benton avenue. She lived to be over eighty and passed away through the infirmities of old age. She was a very faithful member of this church and will be much missed from the church circles. The family have the sympathy of the entire community in their loss. The funeral took place from her late residence on Wednesday of this week at 4 o'clock. Her pastor, Rev. White had charge of the service. Interment in Albia cemetery.

MRS. MARTIN CLEVER

Mrs. Martin Clever, a highly respected citizen of Albia passed away at 12:30 p.m. Monday, after a decline occasioned by age, of several months; having reached the advances age of eighty seven*. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon from home.

*NOTE: Tombstone reflects 1833 as year of birth; second wife of Martin George Clever (1820 - 1910); burial Oakview Cemetery, Albia, IA
