James Lobbins is Sentenced at
Oskaloosa for Killing at Buxton

Oskaloosa, Jan. 16 – James Lobbins was sentenced to twenty-five years in the penitentiary Saturday afternoon by Judge Preston. Lobbins pleaded guilty to killing William Henry with a scantling in Buxton.

Ed Dimmitt was given six months for robbing Ed Parker at Buxton.

Rosser David, convicted of killing Henry Carmichael, was refused a retrial, and was left off with six months sentence. Clemency was shown because was done with the fist, the blow bursting the Adams apple.
