Charles Lee Anderson was born December 7, 1976 in Onawa, Iowa, the son of David and Beverly (Archer) Anderson. He grew up in Onawa, where he attended West Monona before continuing his education at Riverside in Sioux City. At the age of 18, he began attending Monona Services, later known as Crossroads and now called Trivium in Onawa, where he was involved for more than thirty years. One of the highlights of his life was a special trip to Walt Disney World in Florida, which he enjoyed sharing with some of his friends.
Chuck was full of life and energy! He loved spending time fishing, riding along in the combine with his dad and brother, and playing ball with anyone who was up for a game. He also had a mischievous streak—if someone happened to leave their keys in a vehicle, Chuck couldn’t resist the chance to take it for a quick spin around.
He was a member of the First Christian Church in Onawa.
Survivors include his father, David Anderson of Blencoe, Iowa; his brother, Jon (Meryl) Anderson of Blencoe, Iowa; niece, Alexis (Taylor) Pickett of Council Bluffs, Iowa; nephew, Breckin Anderson of Blencoe, Iowa; several aunts and uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly (Archer) Anderson; paternal grandparents, Donald and Elsie (Mohn) Anderson; and maternal grandparents, Raymond and Dorothy (Leisinger) Archer.
