Mrs. Charles Erickson

ONAWA, Iowa - Mrs. Charles Erickson. 71, of Onawa died Tuesday at a hospital in Onawa.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Castana Community Church in Castana. The Rev. Homer Perry will officiate. Burial will be in Kennebec Cemetery in Castana, with the Pearson Funeral Home of Onawa in charge.

Mrs. Erickson, the former LuVerne Cutter, was born Aug. 4, 1896, in Castana. She was married Nov. 4, 1919, in Castana. She taught in rural schools in Iowa and Montana. The couple lived in Turin, Ticonic and Mapleton and moved to Onawa 15 years ago. Mr. Erickson died July 19, 1973, in Onawa.

She was a member of Castana Community Church and of Maple View Rebekkah lodge 53 in Castana.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Esther Reed of Castana and Mrs. Elizabeth Rohde of Mapleton.
