Services for Mrs. Fred Lindsey, 50, of 3738 E, Hull ave. will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, Burial will be at 1 p.m. In the cemetery at Castana, Ia.
Mrs. Lindsey died of complications from diabetes Monday at the Oaks Nursing Home, 3800 Easton Blvd. Born at Castana, she moved to Des Moines from South Sioux City, Neb., 15 years ago.
Surviving are her husband: six sons, Charles C. Bennett of Washington, D.C., Donald D.Bennett of Schweinfurt, Germany, James L. Bennett of Deer [Lodge, Mont., Earl W. Bennett of Laurel, Mont, and Alvin B. and Jon Lindsey of Des Moines; two daughters, Mrs. Martha Schumacher of Mount Pleasant and Karen Lindsey of Des Moines: four sisters, Mrs. Frank Tice of Ovando, Mont., Mrs. Louis Reed of Castana, Mrs. Charles Erickson ol Onawa, and Mrs. Ade Rhode of Mapleton.
