Special Funeral services for Leonard Paul Reed, 58, who died
Monday at a Sioux City hospital after an illness of several weeks, will be at 2 p. m. Wednesday at the Methodist church of Ticonic, la. Rev.Everett Epperson will officiate. Burial will be in the Kennebec cemetery at Castana, under direction of the Pearson funeral home.

Mr. Reed was born July 25, 1900 at Castana. He was a farmer all his life. He was a member of the Methodist church of Ticonic.
He had resided with the Louis C. Reed family for several years.

Survivors include a sister-In-law, Mrs. Louis C. Reed of Castana; two nephews and a niece.
