Mrs. Mabel M. Hansen, 74, Danbury, died Saturday at an Onawa, Ia., nursing home after a long illness.

Funeral services will be at 10 a m. Monday at St. Mary Catholic church at Danbury. Rev. R.V. Sweeney will officiate. Burial will be in the Danbury cemetery under direction of the Walter funeral home of Mapleton, la.

The rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hansen was born October 2, 1889, near Battle Creek, la. She was a resident of Danbury the last 70 year and a member of St. Mary Catholic church. She was married to Herman Hansen September 19, 1916, at Ida Grove, Ia. He died in 1953.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Maurice Kueny of Mapleton, a son, Marvin of Sac City, Ia., and seven grandchildren.
