Craig A. Hagemann, 64, of Whiting, Iowa passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at his residence.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 5, 2023 at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel, Onawa, Iowa with Pastor Catie Newman, officiating. Live stream of the service will be posted on the Goslar Funeral Home website with Craig’s obituary. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Sunday, June 4, 2023 with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at the chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Craig Allen was born March 26, 1959, in Denison, Iowa, the son of Leonard and Margaret (Feddersen) Hagemann. Craig grew up in Schleswig and attended Schleswig High School. For many years Craig worked as a farm hand for Charles Oliver and Dennis O’Neal. In the last few years, he had semi-retired and worked for Nutrien Ag Solutions in Whiting, Iowa.

He enjoyed feeding his squirrels, gardening, and sitting by the bonfire.

Survivors include his children, Randy (Danielle) Hagemann of Moville, Iowa, Rachelle (Brad) Rogers of Whiting, Iowa, and Rebecca Hagemann of Omaha, Nebraska; six grandchildren; brother, Lonnie (Martha) Hagemann of Texas; sisters, Karen (Roger) Baker of Kiron, Iowa, Marlys (Gene) Haberberger of Schleswig, Iowa, and Janice Petersen of Fremont, Nebraska; and several nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Margaret (Feddersen) Hagemann; brother-in-law, Jeff Petersen; and nephew, Shawn Haberberger.
