Marlo Ann Cleveland, 52, of Rodney, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023, unexpectedly at her residence.

Per Marlo’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Marlo Ann was born April 20, 1970, in Onawa, Iowa, the daughter of Tracy and Janet (Hagerdon) Cleveland. She attended school at Maple Valley Highschool and graduated with the class of 1988. After graduation, Marlo went on to attend college at Morningside and WITCC in Sioux City, Iowa.

She worked at Winna Vegas Casino for many years as the food and beverage supervisor.

Marlo enjoyed her movies and television shows, some of her favorites were NCIS, Bones, Criminal Minds, and The Big Bang Theory. She enjoyed going to bonfires and drinking with her friends. Marlo always put a smile on your face and loved bringing joy into a room.

Survivors include her children, Colten Kelsheimer of Kingsley, Iowa, Justin Aguirre of Kingsley, Iowa, and Nikayla (Caleb) Shupe of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; one grandchild, Tristen Kelsheimer; brother, Tony (Kathy) Cleveland of Exira, Iowa; brother-in-law, Steven Peterson of Sibley, Iowa; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tracy and Janet (Hagerdon) Cleveland; and sister, Deanna Peterson.
