MRS. CLARA MILLER

Mrs. Clara Miller, 65, a life resident of Sloan, la., died Friday evening in a Sioux City hospital after a short illness.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p. m. Monday in the Masonic temple at Sloan. Rev. Mr. Miller of the Christian church will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery at Albaton near Sloan. Members of the Eastern Star will conduct the lodge ritual at the graveside.

Mrs. Miller was born December 17, 1880, at Sloan, where she resided her entire life. She was a member of Athena chapter of the Eastern Star.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Frank Phinney of Holstein, la., and Mrs. W. G. Jepson of Sioux City; three sons, Irving of Sloan, Leonard of Moville and Gail of Los Angeles, Cal.; a brother, Fred E. Nelson of Sloan; three sisters, Miss Amelia Nelson and Mrs. Hannah Dahl, both of Sloan, and Mrs. Edward Trator of Power, Mont., and eight grandchildren.

The body was taken to Anderson's funeral home here.
