Shad Jeremy Poole,47, of Parker, Colorado formerly of Turin, Iowa passed away September 30, 2022 in Parker, Colorado.

A celebration of Shad’s life will be 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. Sunday, October 16, 2022 at the Onawa Community Center, Onawa, Iowa, led by Darren C. E. Goslar. The service will begin at 1:00 P.M. with food and fellowship to follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

He was born on November 12, 1974 in Onawa, Iowa to David and Sharon (Davis) Poole. He attended West Monona Community School and graduated from Maple Valley High School in Mapleton, Iowa with the class of 1993. He excelled on many football, baseball, basketball and track teams. Shad held various jobs growing up beginning with helping his family on their farm, Nelson Rock Construction, and Niewohner Construction before moving to Colorado in 1998. He was a valued employee at Republic National Distributing Company in Littleton, Colorado where he worked until his death.

He was married to Lauren Collier on November 19, 2005 and they started a home in Parker, Colorado. Shad was a proud father to Emma Caroline, 16, Ryan Carter, 9, and Rylee (Bottorff) Ferguson, 24. He enjoyed watching various sports and loved the Chicago Cubs and Detroit Lions; his favorite athletes to cheer on were his children.

He is survived by his wife, Lauren (Collier) Poole of Parker, Colorado; children, Emma and Ryan of Parker, Colorado, and Rylee of Omaha, Nebraska. He is also survived by his parents, David and Sharon Poole of Turin, Iowa; brother, Shannan (Janelle) Poole of Turin, Iowa; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Shad has numerous family and friends that will forever cherish him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald and Agnus Poole of Turin, Iowa, and Wanda Davis of Onawa, Iowa.
