Norma Jean (Moore) McKown, 84 years old, of Danbury, Iowa (formerly of Onawa, Iowa) passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Burgess Health Center in Onawa, Iowa.

Per Norma’s wishes, cremation will be accorded and a memorial service with burial of her ashes is being planned for a later date.

Norma Jean (Moore) McKown was born to Charles Leslie Moore and Sydney Fern Cook on May 1, 1937 in Sioux City, Iowa.

She married Jackie Ray Todd, Sr. in 1958.

She later married Harry McKown in Sioux City, Iowa in 1975.

Norma received her G.E.D. in 1984.

Norma loved puzzles and games, poetry, painting, animals, and especially all her family.

She is survived by her children: Mark (Anthony V. Colella, Jr.) and Michelle Moore of Holdrege, Nebraska, Jackie Ray and Rhonda Todd, Jr. of Russell, Kentucky, Ernest and Carla Todd of Onawa, Iowa, Maynard Todd of Pacific Junction, Iowa, Steven and Sharla Todd of Nebraska City, Nebraska, Fern and Robert Hall of Cassatt, South Carolina, Jason McKown of Broken Bow, Nebraska, and Shawn McKown of Pelion, South Carolina; brother, Gerald and Elaine Moore of Lincoln, Nebraska; she is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren; lastly she is survived by Anthony Victor Colella, Sr. of Somerville, Massachusetts, her forever love.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Leslie and Sydney Fern (Cook) Moore; siblings, Mary Jane (Wood) Bourell, Dorothy Marco, Thomas Moore, Hubert Moore, Barbara Sutton, and Lester Moore; her son, Jeffrey Todd; and one grandson, Jason Malbone.
