Esther Marion Overman

Mrs. Esther Marion Overman, 85, Mableton, Iowa, passed away October 5, 1980, at the Maple Heights nursing home, Mapleton Iowa, after a long illness.

She was born July 5, 1895 at Smithland, Iowa to William W. and Mary and Fox Hall. She married Guy McKinley Overman in California where he served with the huge cock. S. Army. She was an employee of the federal government. Following her husband‘s retirement from the army, they lived in Eureka Springs, Arkansas for 18 years. They moved to Mapleton when she became a resident of the Maple Heights nursing home in Mapleton. Mr. Overman died July 25, 1976. Survivors include a brother, Kendall Hall of Refugho, Texas, and two sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Wanda) Armstrong and Mrs. Carl (Evelyn) Nagel both of Mapleton.

Mrs. Overman had wheeled her body to science. Memorial services will be held at a later date under the direction of the Willman Funeral Home, Rodney, Iowa.
