ALVIN (BOSS) K. HYATT

Alvin (Boss) K. Hyatt, a lifetime resident of Onawa, Iowa, passed away
October 10, 1978, at Burgess Memorial Hospital, Onawa, Iowa, at the age of
69 years, 11 months and 16 days.

He was born October 24, 1906, at Winside, Nebraska, the son of Alvin M. Hyatt
and Clara Miller. He was united in marriage to Edna Thompson on April 21, 1931,
at Missouri Valley, Iowa.

He worked for the city of Onawa as a carpenter and line man. He was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church, Onawa, Iowa.

Survivors include his wife, Edna of Onawa, Ia.; one daughter, Mrs. Larry
(Reta) Warren of Castana, Ia.; two sons, Alvin J. Hyatt of Hillsboro, Mo.,
and Daniel W. Hyatt of Onawa, Ia.; 13 grandchildren, four sisters, Mrs. George (Rita)
Mansfield of Sioux City, Ia.; Mrs. George (Irene) Carlson of Onawa, Ia.; Mrs. Clarice Davis of Onawa, Ia.; and Mrs. Frank Hopkins, all of Onawa, Ia.; one brother Burtis Hyatt of Waubun, Minn.

He was proceeded in death by his parents.

Services were Wednesday, October 13, 1976 at 11 a.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church, Onawa, Iowa, with Pastor Quentin Quanbeck, officiating. The organist, Mrs. Syril Brown, accompanied Pastor John Meyer in the selections, "Come Ye Disconsolate" and "The Lord is My Sheperd."

Bearers were Harold Johnston, Ernest Holsclaw, John Falk, Everett Sorenson, Ronald
Hogancamp, and Robert Hansen. Honorary bearers were employees and retires of the City of Onawa, Iowa.

Interment took place in the Onawa Cemetery with arrangements by Pearson Funeral Home, Onawa, Iowa.
