Dies After Long Illness

Clara A. Hyatt was born June 27, 1880 in Saunders County, Neb. and passed from this life in the Elmwood Home in Onawa, Iowa on December 10, 1966. Death came following a long illness. She had reached the age of 86 years, 5 months and 13 days.

On February 6, 1900 she was united in marriage with Alvin M. Hyatt at Stockton, Mo. They made their home at Winside, Neb., until 1911 at which time they moved to Onawa.

She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.

Mrs. Hyatt was a good woman, a loving mother and grandmother and a very true
friend.

Survivors include her husband Alvin M. of Onawa; four daughters, Mrs. George
Mansfield, of Sioux City; Mrs. Irene Heisler, of Blencoe; Mrs. Clarice M. Davis of Onawa and Mrs.
Frank Hopkins of Foley, Minn; two sons, Alvin K. of Onawa; and Burtis E. of Waubun, Minn.
There are 25 grandchildren, 78 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren along with a number of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 1966 at the Pearson Funeral Chapel in Onawa with the Rev. Everett Epperson officiating. Mrs. Oliver Kelley was organist. Bearers were Herbert Davis, Alvin Hyatt, Francis Heisler, Gordon Hopkins, Richard Seaton and
Frederick Heisler.
Interment was in the Graceland Cemetery at Blencoe with arrangements by the Pearson Funeral Home of Onawa.
