W. D. Loomis of Blencoe Dead

WELL KNOWN BLENCOE CITIZEN PASSED AWAY WEDNESDAY AT 1:30 P.M. DUE TO HEART TROUBLE.
Had Been a Resident Threw for 45 Years—Leaves A Wife and Six Children—Funeral to be Held on Friday.

W.D. Loomis, a well known and highly respected citizen of Blencoe passed away at the Mahlon Davis home on Wednesday afternoon, May 26, 1937, at 1:30 o’clock. He having been ill for the past few weeks with a severe heart ailment.

Mr. Loomis was born at Chicago, Ill., and was 65 years of age at the time of his death. He has resided in the vicinity of Blencoe for 45 years.

A few years ago he took prominent part in all local and county affairs. He is survived by his wife and three daughters and three sons. According to information received at this office the funeral services will be held on Friday.
