John J. RICHTERMEIER

MAPLETON, la. Special: Funeral services for John J. Richtermeier, 91, Mapleton resident for the last 31 years, who died Thursday at his home here, will be at 9:30 a. m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic church here.

The rosary was recited Friday night at the Byers-Walter funeral home in Mapleton. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.

Mr. Richtermeier was born March 5, 1864, at Council Bluffs. He farmed in the Mapleton vicinity before moving to town. He married Mrs. Louis Mack, February 25, 1924.

Survivors are the widow; six children, Mrs. Catherine Ullrich of Carroll, la., Mrs. Darrell , McCleery of Sioux City, Mrs. Walter Coyne of Sergeant Bluff, Mrs. Dean Lowe of Roseville, Cal., Leo of San Diego, Cal., and Cletus of Mapleton; four-step-children, Mrs. Joseph Schleis of LeMars, and Mrs. Leroy Kurth of LeMars, Mrs. Harvey Gras of Mapleton and George Mack of Minneapolis, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Emig of Minneapolis.
